Affordable Noise Cancelling Headphones Do Exist!

Most people will have a hard time shelling out $300 for a set of headphones including myself Until I tried the Bose QC15!

But this doesn't mean there aren't quality headphones for a more reasonable price than $300.

Fortunately there are some pretty good noise cancelling options for under $200 and even at around $100. There's even a $60 Pair that are pretty good!

These Sennheiser PXC-250 Noise Cancelling Headphones at $60 is a tremendous Value!

Sennheiser PXC 250 Noise Cancelling Headphones at $60

These Sennheiser PXC 250 are a tremendous value at $60. They're small and light and will not break the bank. Just don't expect Bose performance noise cancelling out of these guys.

Audio quality is solid and not they don't come with a nose-hair trimmer... Sennheiser actually houses the noise cancelling circuitry and AAA batter in an external housing which allows the headphones to be much small.

You can even exercise with these badboys! Now this cannot be said for most noise cancelling headphones as most of them are simply "bulky".

But the noise cancelling isn't the best but they do excel in the bang for buck arena. At $60 I doubt you'll find a better set of noise cancelling headphones.

These Sony MDR-NC60s did a decent job at cancelling noise at at $120, they're a decent deal as well!

MDR-NC60 Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones at $120

If you're looking for a decent set of noise cancelling headphones for around $100 then I would say go with either these Sony MDR-NC60s or the above Audio-Technica ATHANC7.

These Sony's provide better noise cancelling than the Audio-Technicas but the Audio-Technicas are known for their sound quality.

Sennheiser PXC-350 Noise Cancelling Headphones at $180

If you want the best noise cancelling but just can't spend the $300 for the Bose QuietComfort 15, then the Sennheiser PXC-350 are the ones you want!

At $180, these best of class in cancelling noise are a great deal. Their noise cancelling ability is superb and they have sound quality to match.

I own these and they are fantastic! Noise Cancelling is second only to it's big brother PXC-450 at $240 and the New Bose QC15 which squashes them both.

See and Hear them dominate other headphones in noise cancelling in the Video Shootout

On top of all of this these guys are very, very comfortable! They fold down and fit into a very travel friendly case.

Drawback? They are enormous when you wear them. You feel like you're about to blast off into space with them on and they're a little heavy on your head. But for under $200 you won't find a better pair
